CDT SS001

There were a few things about this car that did not add up. But there is to much CDT gear for it not to have been..

They all get plenty of a thrassing!

Is the car still alive?

It is very fixable.

The SS stickers look like monaro ones.

It is an SL 5 speed in which they were made in but the std 4speed was an option allso.

I need to scan my SS broacher.

Do not know if the car still lives. Last seen in 1995 sold to a bloke in Bendigo no word since. Would love another chance.......
It was the 5 speed and had an 1800cc in it most of the usual bits, extractors 2inch system, it didn't have the webber just a stock carb maybe removed by a prev owner.
I did how ever adapt a 350cfm holly on to it for a while, madness......

Pictures of the car on trailer and with front end striped were towards the end of our time together, I had a roo strike one night. It was straightened out and put back on the road.

They are some great pics.
Almost an S1 CDT but not if you get what I am thinking.
Thanks for sharing, such a shame she was lost.

G'Day fellas :D

Wondering if I could find out a bit more about these cars?
Seeing as this site is the only one of it's kind dedicated to the CDT era.

Is there a post or thread that breaks down what an S1 was S2, S3, SS?

I know that you could spec the car with what you wanted, CDT SS001 had the order/ parts list still in the glove box. listing everything from a stage head, carbs, manifolds, turbo kits, and staged engines from memory (as I no longer have them) the turbo kit was around $1600 or $1800 with all needed parts to fit it up.

Still in my shed is the brochure that I have seen part of posted (and I found an old posting on a google search that had some good scans of the brochure)
and the horn center.
Parts of the car don't add up from what I have picked up on but the horn center is.... well... real.

Your correct but on a laptop the pic is still too big to view the full pic, saving and viewing on pc allows full view.
