Got a Torana forum member to snap a pic of this thing for me as he mentioned he'd seen the mystery vehicle!

Now you just need to ask the Torana man to go knock on the door and ask if he can get some more info.

This is the one that was supposedly for sale but never eventuated.

The guy was expecting up around $30,000 for it

I now have their address, i'm going to send him a letter informing him of this site etc, apparently they are old folks so probably not online but maybe they will have a friend that can get on here :)

Coxy I have rang their son, they will call me soon about the Car and yes they know about the site already :shock:


the local Holden dealer who sold the car to them in 1980 wants to buy the car off them.

sorry fro the delay guys

the car is an S1 still has the nana sunvisor on it from new, sold by the local Holden dealer in Cairns.

The owners may be cuatious now as it has sparked a lot of attention, be interesting to see if they give a reply to the letter.

They may think they have a big dollar car and want to hang onto it for a while??

An s3 in that kind of unrestored condition would pull big bucks but not an s1...
