Slight update. Car and wheels are ready for painting. Just trying to find time with house renovations, work and 3 year Supra project.

Hopefully by Christmas, all 3 projects will be complete!

Luckily I never mentioned which year I would be finished :D

Throw in wedding preparations so all non essential projects have been put on hold

Anyway, a bit of an update. Car is now all nice and straight. Wheels have been polished and are awaiting painting. HDT flares have been primed ready for painting (couldn’t find CDT flares at the time), front spoiler has been repaired and modified to match up to the new flares, the old non damaged flares have been removed with old holes welded and new holes drilled.

Rear spoiler has been repaired and now awaiting a set of replacement decals.

Car has been resprayed and now waiting for it to be put back together and still trying to track down a few rare VH parts. I might have to rape and pillage from the donor VH

Good work Andy, she's coming along nicely.
Shame about the flares but that can be fixed later.

I assume the CDT flares can still be ordered from somewhere?

If so, I will order a set for down the track.

G'day Paul

There was a silver one that didnt sell @ $25,000

If you were going to sell it I would advertise in two weeks time when the CDT article is published in the Aussie Muscle car Enthusisaist mag.

But as they say a buyer will pay what it is worth to them which can be less or more than the asking price.

Kind Regards

Where has the time gone? Since my last update, we renovated our house, got married, built a shed and had a baby!

Last week, I drove the car for the first time in 5 years. Car drove well initially considering it was 42 degrees. I think the full pump is dying as the car surges badly after 10 mins of driving and the fuel pump was making some strange sounds. When cold all runs well. Anyway a new Bosch fuel pump is on order.

We have all the decals (thanks to Murray) and these will be fitted soon.

Does anyone know the original font style of the 'TURBO S3' stickers?
