Surely if you started making a pain of yourself on a bunch of forums she would show up sooner or later.
What state were/are you in?
Maybe call rego departments and offer up the plate numbers - I dont know.
We have members in most states other than WA who would more than likely be willing to help the hunt :D
She would be a rare beast today and well worth the effort I say.
Good luck.
Cheers

I live in NSW, the car was sold to the Holden Wrecker at 8 Belmore Rd at Punchbowl, just off Canterbury Rd, sold it between 1998 - 2000, NSW Rego JF.063 (black/white plates), Red, flares, alloy drop tank, god, if only i had a photo of it. 253, 4 speed, 4 wheel discs.

Something i just thought of aswell, the rego plates JF ..................... Jim Faneco (CDT driver/founder)...................... i hope this isn't a coincidence.

Not sure if i can get any info on the car through the RTA, because i no longer own the vehicle.

I dont know about down there but here in QLD we can submit a form (and $25) to find an owner.
Its used in crash and run acco's.
See if the RTA has anything like that down your way.
She may have died a slow crushing death in the junkyard but you just never know (god I hope I am wrong)
Good luck.
Cheers

Hello people,
Just came across this site - very nice. I have a few photos of some CDT Commodores from back in the early to mid '80's. Just some S1's and Z-Paks. How do I post pics?

Cheers, BillyBoy

Hi Billy.
You can upload pics as an attachment, scroll down a little when writing a comment and you will see the attachment section.
Or, if the pics are already on another site you can use the img tag and place the url between them.
Or, you could just email the pics to me and I will post them for you, andrew@cdtcars.com.au
I am looking forward to seeing the pics, oh yea - welcome to the site :D :D

Hello Andrew,
Thank you - I hope I've figured it out! My apologies for the quality of the photos - they were usually taken in a hurry. Nearly all are from the early to mid 80's - maybe hte car from Paul Wakeling wasn't, the rest definitely are.
This is a picture of a Z-Pak VH taken at Blayney in the Central West of NSW. I think it was a 253 V8.

This was taken at Oran Park. I think it was an S1, but I'll have to check up on that. Sold by Paul Wakeling Holden, but second hand I believe.

This one was a Canberran car taken at Batemans Bay. It is actually a V8 despite the S3 decal on the guard, so maybe only an S1. Looks good with the drop tank and extra side skirts, and it sounded good too. I actually questioned CDT about it at the time and they said there were no S3 V8's made, and only 20 4 cylinder S3's. I'll scan the literature I got from them another day and post it. I did see on another forum with some other literature as well - maybe Street Commodores? Sorry, can't remember exactly which or where now!

This was also taken at Batemans Bay - a bit blurry. Another S1, from memory another V8, and possibly from Goulburn?
