And lastly, another V8 S1, taken at Mount Panorama, Bathurst during the James Hardie. I don't think I ever saw 2 cars exactly the same - always a difference in the striping or decals somewhere. Sadly, I never did see too many of these vehicles over the years, and this was most of the ones I saw in the flesh. I do remember seeing a silver one in Canberra, a black V8 S1 in Gosford, and I was told back in the days that there was a green one in Goulburn, and a yellow S3 on the East Coast of northern Victoria.

Great work there BillyBoy, thanks for the pics.
They should give the other commo owners here something to go on with their resto's.

Hey Billy. Nathan here. How are you? Cant believe you have so many photos of all different commodores. As you know all the CDT commodores are slightly different and i'v wondered for many years how different they were to each other. They are all very nice looking cars.I thought nobody out there would have photos like these, so THANKS HEAPS. This will help with the resto of my commo and if by any chance you have engine bay or interior pics could you post them? But anyway, Thanks again for posting the pictures they are very much appreciated.

Hello Nathan, I'm well, thank you. And yourself? Afraid I never did get pics of interior or engine bay. I don't know if you ever saw the article in Motor Manual of November 1982. There is a b&w pic of the engine bay of the S3 tested. Not great, but something to go by. Only interior shot is of the instrument panel. Maybe you could track down there archival photos if they kept them, or the photographer, to see what else he may have taken? I don't know what happened to the magazine!

And the other side. I've resized these to make it easier to view - would have done it for the earlier pics, but I've only just discovered how to.
